Pod travelled from enterprise reef along north Pender ( thieves bay and southeast ). observed at this location with 2 Ww boats , they then turned east at the border and travelled east , approx 5 in one pod and 3 in the other with 4 WW boats. possibly a successful hunt.

Orcas heading E in Boundary Pass slow moving, appear to be feeding moving back and forth. close followed by a total of 11WW boats over the last half hour. took a while for me to see blows and count.

4 adults, one calf. frequent surfacing first west then east now trending W. first about 50 m off shore. then 100-150 out. might be foraging, same area for over 10 mins. They have a sea lion surrounded, it keeps popping up high above the water. Orcas diving over it and tail slapping.
